Attorney Angela Olson identifies challenges in the Wisconsin Court System.

We have unique challenges in Wisconsin in both family and criminal law. For all areas of law and life, we must figure out how to deal with the marijuana legalization that surrounds but does not exist in our State.  We also need to involve mental health professionals more fully in the court system.  There is a shortage of mental providers to provide services—even for individuals and families not going through litigation.  However, as a legal community, finding ways to automatically have mental health therapy integrated in the legal process would be extremely beneficial in many cases.  I look forward to continuing to work to assist people find happiness in their families and lives through the involvement of the legal process utilizing as many professionals as necessary.
